Third Pillar USA is a Muslim charity organization based in the United States, dedicated to alleviating poverty in the local community. Our team comprises of passionate individuals from across the Bay Area, working in various professions with a shared commitment to serve humanity. We operate under the guidance of respected Islamic scholars to ensure that our work aligns with the principles of Islam. We strive to make a difference in the lives of people in need, by providing them with essential resources such as food, shelter, and education. With your support, we can continue to achieve our charitable goals and contribute to the betterment of society.
100% DONATION POLICY
At Third Pillar our primary goal is to help those who need it the most. Our mission is to ensure that your donations get to where and who need it the most. You provide your hard-earned money to us in trust to ensure it is distributed appropriately, and we don’t take that lightly. It is important to Third Pillar that you have confidence in us, and with this in mind, we have adopted a 100% Donation Policy.
What is a 100% Donation Policy?
This means that 100% of your donations is distributed directly into the hands of the needy through one of our charitable efforts. Your donations are being handled with the utmost respect and are being used appropriately with the guidance of our scholars. With this policy you can rest assured that your donations are going to those who need it the most, and that they are not used to cover any operating costs.

How do you cover operating costs?
The money required to cover all operating costs come from donations that are specifically made just to cover operating costs. These donors understand the importance of the work we are doing and understand the importance of our 100% donation policy and therefore donate specifically for administrative costs.

Third Pillar has a 100% donation policy, with this we can ensure that 100% of your Zakaat will reach those in need. We ensure that the recipients are Zakaat eligible and transfer full ownership over to them in either cash or in kind (food, essentials items etc).

Imam Faiz Vaid
Imam Islamic Center of San Francisco California
Imam Faiz Vaid has been serving the community as an Imam, youth engagement coordinator, and relief worker. He completed the memorization of the Quran in 2011 from in Mississauga, Canada. He thereafter completed the first four years of his Alimmiyat program at Jame Abu Bakr Masjid in Toronto under the tutelage of Shaikh Qasim Ingar. He then traveled to England to complete his final two years in Darul Uloom Al Arabiyah Al Islamiyah in Bury, England. He studied under the supervision of many senior scholars including the late Shaikh Yusuf Motala (Rahimahullah). After completing his studies, he has taken up many responsibilities in serving the Muslim community. This includes serving as an Imam, teaching evening Madrasah clasess, serving as a Hifz Class teacher and as a Funeral Director at ISNA CANADA where he coordinated the Janazah and burials throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Maulana Faiz has lead multiple youth initiatives as a Youth Coordinator at his local masjid. These include organizing youth retreats and sporting activities for highschool and university students. He has also led many relief initiatives locally and abroad. He founded a charity organization known as Third Pillar. Third Pillar provides charitable aid to multiple individuals and organizations such as homeless shelters, low income neighborhoods, and indigenous communities. Third Pillar also runs international relief projects which include earthquake relief in Turkey and serving the Muslim community in Jamaica by establishing a maktab and supporting locals Masjids and Mussalahs.
